This may be a strange way to start an article about Basic Make-up but hang in there with me for a moment.

How to apply Basic Make-up?
Q – I never apply complete make up to my face. What all I do now is after wash my face I apply a day cream then put face powder on it. Can somebody pls give me an instruction what to apply to my face starting from after wash my face with facial foam. I also appreciate if somebody can give me a good website to refer to.

A – First off sweetheart, make -up was never intended to be put all over your face you are supposed to use it to enhance your god given beauty . below is my morning routine this is basic and most women do most of these things. as for sites to go to, Sephora.com has some hints and then usually a magazine like cosmo or jane can give you tips as well.
In the morning: Shower using a pore cleanser like Nutragena face soap. After a shower i pat face dry with towel and apply a moisturising face and throat lotion or day creme with a spf of about 15; the next thing is concealer( in the summer most women do not wear a base just use concelar) dab on the area that is blotchy and red pat into face with finger do not rub this will not help cover; take a translucent powder and brush face setting the concelar and helping with your shine, keep powder or oil sheets in your purse for touch ups; on your eyelids apply a soft nude color slightly darker than your skin tone apply on brow bone too; take a color you like for your lids; apply mascara( there is a full color pallete of mascara out there; just for day use, apply a clear or slightly tented lip gloss; use a bronzer or a coral or pink blush and sweep your nose, temples, and apples of your cheeks.
