The liquid makeup is picked up in the air much like paint would and is evenly sprayed on using a waving motion. A – An airbrush used to apply makeup is not made for paint – makeup is a much higher grade and a finer product so the airbrush has to be specially designed to use these fine delicate products. Yes, the application of makeup is an art but it’s nothing like art done with a regular airbrush. A regular airbrush (like for painting models or canvas) allows more paint thru the nozzle and does not require the pin-point accuracy of apply makeup.
